What is SpeedFit?

It’s a 20-minute, deeply effective workout. Based on EMS training (electronic muscle stimulation) SpeedFit is a scientifically proven method used for decades in Europe for rehabilitation and sports medicine.

EMS machines mimic the natural action of your central nervous system, sending electrical impulses that contract your muscles. It’s incredibly time efficient: in just 20 minutes, an EMS machine will give you the same results as several hours spent sweating in the gym.

Each workout is tailored to the individual’s needs, with the workouts adaptive enough to vary accordingly. For the elderly or injured, the workout can be extremely mild, while those wanting something a little more rigorous (even elite athletes), you can experience a hard-core workout with strong muscle contractions and dynamic exercises.

SpeedFit studios are no ordinary gyms. Expect small, private spaces, pristinely clean – with only a few people present at any one time. Your instructor will give you your own machine and guide you through a personally tailored workout just right for your body – and your health and fitness needs.

SpeedFit was co-founded in 2013 by Matej Varhalik in Perth, WA. Since then, SpeedFit has been giving thousands of Australians a deeper, more effective workout than conventional gym routines in a fraction of the time. By providing such great result to our clients, today, SpeedFit has more than 20 locations across three states.

SpeedFit helps you get fit, fast, because we know you have other things to do. Whether you’re working 9-5, busy with kids or just busy being busy, not everyone wants to spend their life in the gym. That’s why at SpeedFit, we’ve created a system to help you stay in shape in just 20 minutes a week.

The first of its kind in Australia, SpeedFit uses scientifically proven EMS (electronic muscle stimulation) training.

Here’s what happens during a session: before your workout, you’re given a special outfit to wear, connecting you to the EMS machine. Then, in your 20-minute workout, your personal trainer will put you through a customised routine, deeply toning and strengthening each muscle group through hundreds of contractions. But don’t let the idea scare you: SpeedFit can be extremely gentle, or deeply intense.
